Our client, a prominent company within the power utilities sector, is seeking an ICP Project Manager to join their team. This permanent position will be based in the South East and London region, focusing on new connections work within the energy industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing ICP new connection projects from inception to completion
- Overseeing 11kV and 33kV projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope
- Coordinating with various stakeholders, including clients and subcontractors
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Providing technical support and guidance to the project team
- Monitoring project progress and preparing regular status reports
- Managing project budgets and resource allocation
- Identifying and mitigating project risks
Job Requirements:
- Experience in ICP and project management within the power utilities sector
- Electrically trained with a strong understanding of 11kV and 33kV systems
- Knowledge of BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems), solar projects, and I&C (Industrial & Commercial) connections
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements
- Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field
