Hydraulic Press Setter/Operator- - Precision Engineering - Letchworth -1822 per hour

Hello Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting a Press Setter/Operator for a well established engineering firm based in Letchworth, Hertfordshire.

As Press Setter you will be responsible for setting up and operating presses to produce sheet metal components for prototype and low volume production runs across a variety of sectors.

Key job functions are as follows:

Setting up hydraulic presses with the correct tooling, dies and press parameters

Produce sheet metal pressings and stampings to customer specs.

Read and intepret engineering drawings and work instructions.

The ideal candidate will have proven exposure to setiing and operating hydraulic or mechanical presses

Abiliy to read and intepret drawings and press specifications

Experience of working with press tooling and dies

Own tools and toolbox

The salary on offer is between -18 and -22 per hour depending on experience for a 37.hrs week where there is plenty of overtime options available at 1.5 times basic pay.- 25 days holiday, bonus scheme , pension scheme and company sick pay scheme complete the really good company benefits.
