HR Business Partner – Corporate functions
- Based either West Midlands or Northamptonshire
- Travel across sites is required for this role
- FTC – 12 months +
- Hybrid work offered once relationships have been built
- Paying up to £65k

The Role
The HRBP partners with business leaders to align HR strategies with business goals, providing guidance on workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, performance management, and organisational development.
Key responsibilities of the HR Business Partner:
- Coach managers in commercial and functional environments to build team management capabilities.
- Support the full employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, probation periods, and exits.
- Coordinate performance management, learning and development, engagement, wellbeing initiatives, and talent/succession planning.
- Lead or support HR projects and initiatives across the business.
- Analyse HR metrics to inform decision-making and improve workforce effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and manage audits from customers and third parties.
- Work with unions and unrepresented teams, leading complex ER cases up to ET and guiding collective consultations on changes in working practices.
Key requirements of the HR Business Partner:
- Strong HR Generalist experience in B2B/B2C commercial and functional environments.
- Skilled in workforce planning, leadership development, talent management, and hiring for specialist roles.
- Experience managing complex ER cases, collective consultations, and working with unions/legacy agreements.
- Familiar with audits and ensuring legal compliance.
- Ability to lead in a safety-first culture and travel as needed.
- Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management.
- Organised, action-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Fair, consistent, and resilient in managing ER/IR matters.
- Collaborative and able to handle sensitive issues with confidentiality.
