HSE Manager

Health, Safety and Environmental Manager 40,000 - 45,000 North Nottinghamshire Manufacturing / EngineeringWe''re looking for an experienced Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to take ownership of HSE across an established manufacturing and engineering business.This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is comfortable working across the shop floor, with operational teams and alongside senior management. You''ll be responsible for maintaining and continually improving the company''s HSE systems, with a particular focus on ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.The RoleTake overall responsibility for Health, Safety and Environmental matters across the business.Maintain and develop ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.Ensure compliance with UK Health and Safety and Environmental legislation.Complete and review risk assessments, COSHH assessments and safe systems of work.Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, implementing corrective actions.Carry out HSE inspections, audits and workplace assessments.Manage environmental matters including waste, hazardous waste, chemicals, energy and spill prevention.Coordinate internal and external ISO audits.Monitor HSE performance and report KPIs to senior management.Deliver HSE inductions, training and toolbox talks.Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality and Maintenance to reduce HSE risks.Drive continuous improvement and help develop a positive HSE culture.About YouWe''re looking for someone with:Proven experience in an ..... full job details .....
