HSE Advisor

Our client is a growing gas utilities business operating within a highly regulated and safety-critical environment. Due to continued growth, we are supporting them in the appointment of an experienced HSE Advisor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an HSE professional who is passionate about maintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental performance and wants to play a key role in supporting operational teams across the business. Ideally we are looking for an HSE advisor from the utilities background but we could also consider construction/highways experience as this could be transferrable. As HSE Advisor, you will provide practical health, safety and environmental support to operational teams, helping to ensure that work is delivered safely, compliantly and in line with company standards and relevant legislation. You will work closely with management, supervisors and frontline teams, providing advice, conducting site visits and inspections, and supporting the continuous improvement of the company''s HSE culture. Key Responsibilities Provide competent HSE advice and guidance to operational teams and management. Carry out workplace and site inspections, audits and safety observations.
