HSE Advisor - ReadingAstute''s Nuclear team are currently recruiting for a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor to support a large defence project near Reading. This is an initial 3-month contract, supporting the HSW Manager with the delivery of Health, Safety and Wellbeing requirements and KPIs. The Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor position comes with a rate of 55.00 per hour Inside IR35.Role responsibilities and key skills:Provide visible Health, Safety and Wellbeing support and advice across the project.Carry out site inspections and audits, identifying corrective actions and supporting compliance with the Safety Management System.Review and advise on Method Statements and Risk Assessments, including those from the supply chain.Support external audits, corrective actions and closeout of audit findings.Deliver Health and Safety inductions, training and presentations.Support accident and incident investigations and identify recommendations for improvement.Promote safe behaviours and support the project''s Zero Harm objectives.Work with Environmental and Quality teams to support integrated compliance and assurance.Support the identification and maintenance of Health and Safety competencies and certifications.NEBOSH National Diploma or equivalent required, or demonstrable progress towards a relevant qualification.Experience in Health and Safety, ideally within highways, major projects or construction.Strong technical Health and Safety knowledge and understanding of HSE ..... full job details .....
