Are you a proactive HR professional ready to make a real impact? Richard Whittker Ltd are seeking a full-time HR Officer to join our team, reporting directly to the Production Director. In this fast-paced role, you will manage end-to-end recruitment, champion employee engagement, and oversee core HR administration and compliance for 110 employees.

What You Will Do
Lead Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage the full hiring lifecycle for operational and office roles, welcoming new talent with robust induction programs.
Support Our People: Act as the go-to contact for employees and managers, supporting employee relations, training needs, and performance management.
Maintain Compliance: Oversee HR databases, contracts, policy compliance, and assist with payroll and attendance administration.
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications: CIPD Level 3 (or equivalent) with a strong commitment to CPD.
Experience: Proven HR experience, ideally within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Skills: Excellent communication, a high level of confidentiality, and solid knowledge of employment legislation.

Key Responsibilities: -
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for operational and office roles
- Coordinate interviews, screening, and candidate selection
- Conduct onboarding and induction programs for new hires
- Act as a point of contact for employee and managers
- Support conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures
- Promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement initiatives
- Assist in implementing performance appraisal systems
- Monitor employee performance and support development plans
- Work with managers to identify training needs
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases
- Manage contracts, documentation, and compliance records
- Assist in developing and updating HR policies and procedures
- Support audits and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate training programs for staff and line managers
- Track employee development and training effectiveness
- Promote continuous learning within the organization
- Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration
- Monitor attendance, leave records, and overtime
- Enforce all company procedures & policies
- Adhere to company Health & Safety procedures
- Ad hoc duties as required
- Ability to uphold a professional attitude
Key Skills Required: -
- CIPD Level 3 in Human Resources, or similar qualifications
- HR experience, preferably in FMG/FMCG or manufacturing
- Knowledge of HR practices and employment legislation
- CPD initiative
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism
