HR OfficerLocation: Newtownabbey Reporting to: Group HR Manager Employment Type: Full-time - Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (one day working from home) About the RoleMy client is seeking an experienced and people-focused HR Officer to join their Group HR team, supporting their portfolio across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.This is a hands-on HR role with a particular focus on employee relations, HR systems, data and benchmarking and providing practical HR support to management teams. The successful candidate will work closely with General Managers and Heads of Department across the group, providing professional advice and ensuring HR policies, processes and best practice are consistently applied. The role will suit an HR professional who is confident dealing with people at all levels, comfortable managing employee relations matters, and has a strong interest in using HR systems and data to improve how HR is delivered across the business. Key Responsibilities Employee RelationsProvide practical and professional HR advice to General Managers, Heads of Department and line managers across the group.Manage and advise on employee relations matters including:Absence and attendancePerformance and capabilityDisciplinary mattersGrievancesConduct and behavioural issuesProbationary reviewsFlexible working requestsEmployee complaints and concernsSupport managers through formal and informal HR processes, ensuring matters are handled fairly, consistently and in line with ..... full job details .....
