HR Officer (Generalist)

Hays HR is delighted to be partnering with a successful and growing manufacturer to recruit an experienced HR Officer (Advisor) for their Warrington operation. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business with an international presence, employing approximately 280 people across multiple locations in the UK and Europe. Supporting a manufacturing site of around 110 employees, reporting to the Group People and Talent Director, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a high-quality people service (operating in a stand-alone capacity on-site). This is a true generalist position offering exposure to the full employee lifecycle, employee relations, people projects, and HR systems development. The Role As HR Officer, you will provide expert guidance and support to managers and employees across a broad range of people matters, including: Providing advice and guidance on employment law, HR policies, procedures and best practice Managing attendance and absence cases, including short and long-term absence, return-to-work processes and attendance reviews Leading employee relations cases from start to finish, including disciplinary, grievance and performance management processes Supporting managers with complex people matters and organisational change initiatives Managing recruitment activity across a range of positions, including drafting adverts, liaising with agencies, coordinating interviews and onboarding new starters Supporting talent development, ..... full job details .....
