Interim HR ManagerLocal Authority Hybrid InterimVenn Group are currently recruiting for an Interim HR Manager to join a local authority on an interim basis.The Council is looking for an experienced, hands-on HR generalist who can provide immediate support across the full range of HR activity. The successful candidate will primarily focus on maintaining BAU HR provision, while also supporting some elements of the Council''s significant Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) programme.The roleLead and support a broad range of generalist HR activity across the Council.Provide effective HR advice and guidance to managers and employees.Work closely with the existing HR Manager and wider HR team to ensure continuity of service.Support the Council through its ongoing LGR programme where required.Operate as part of the wider management team, reporting directly to the Chief Executive.Provide confident, pragmatic HR support and be able to hit the ground running.The teamYou will join an established HR function comprising:2 x HR Managers3 x full-time HR Advisors4 x part-time HR AdministratorsThe Council employs approximately 340 staff.About youThe ideal candidate will have:Strong experience working in a generalist HR Manager capacity.The ability to work independently and provide immediate support in a busy environment.Excellent knowledge across the full HR lifecycle.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.Local government experience is highly desirable.Experience of ..... full job details .....
