Michael Page are excited to support a very successful and prestigious organisation to appoint for a HR Manager role based at a manufacturing site near Buxton.

Due to the nature of this sector, the role is a fully office based role.

Description

The role of HR Manager will play a critical role to support leadership at this busy, fast-paced site. Working closely with the operational leadership team, you will provide expert guidance on all people matters associated with this manufacturing/supply chain division.

This will include but not limited to:

• Partner closely with site leadership and management providing expert advice on all people matters to ensure commercial goals are reached
• Support with recruitment projects and inductions
• Work closely with Trade Unions for the divisions
• Provide expert guidance and support on employee relations matters, ensuring positive outcomes.
• Develop and implement training programmes to support employee development.
• Lead on any change projects
• Analyse HR metrics and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with other departments to align HR strategies with business objectives.
• Supporting workforce planning, succession planning and talent development

Profile

Successful applicants for this role will have:

• A proven background within a similar sector such as manufacturing/logistics
• A proven background within a unionised environment
• Be comfortable in a fully site based role, understanding the need for visibility within this sector
• Be comfortable dealing with a wide range of people matters ranging from supporting with administration and advisory duties through to partnering strategically with the site leadership
