OverviewThe HR Manager (Compliance and Operations) acts in a senior advisory capacity with a pivotal role in delivering a high quality, professional and effective HR service to the School. The role focuses on safeguarding, safer recruitment, regulatory compliance, HR operations and administration, and supporting the Head of HR in maintaining high standards across the Trust.
Responsibilities
Provide senior advisory support on HR matters across the School.
Lead on safeguarding, safer recruitment, and regulatory compliance.
Oversee HR operations and administration to ensure efficient service delivery to just over 450 employees at Hampton School and the Hampton Pre-Prep and Prep School.
Support the Head of HR to maintain high standards across the Trust.
Work collaboratively with the HR team (Head of HR, HR Manager – Recruitment and Staff, and HR and Recruitment Administrators) to deliver a high quality HR service.
Qualifications and Skills
Solid HR and UK employment law knowledge base, preferably gained within the education sector.
Ideal candidate will hold CIPD or equivalent qualification.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and administrative skills.
Understanding of ISI regulations is desirable.
Meticulous attention to detail, resilience and a friendly, customer-focused approach.
Terms and BenefitsThis is a permanent, full-time position based on site at Hampton School. Normal working hours are 8.45am - 4.45pm, Monday to Friday. A high level of flexibility, commitment and dedication is required to fulfil the responsibilities of the role.
