HR Manager (ER & Projects)

Liberty Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a fantastic organisation in the search for an experienced HR Manager (ER & Projects) to join their People team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys combining complex ER with hands-on HR projects and organisational change. Reporting into the Head of HR and working closely with senior leaders, you’ll help shape the wider people agenda while providing trusted advice across a range of business-critical initiatives.

You’ll also play an important role in building management capability, improving HR processes and supporting a positive and high-performing culture.

Based in Cosham with travel to other business locations as required, this is a hybrid role working 2 days a week from home and paying £50,000 – £65,000 DOE.

What you’ll do:

• Majority of this role will be providing senior HR advice and support on complex ER matters, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence, performance, TUPE and organisational change.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to deliver HR projects across areas including engagement, wellbeing, DE&I, organisational development, talent and succession planning.
• Support organisational change and workforce planning, helping leaders navigate change effectively and minimise people risk.
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and ER frameworks, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and best practice.
• Coach, mentor and develop managers and HR colleagues, strengthening capability and promoting consistent people practices.
• Use workforce data and insight to identify trends, manage risk and recommend improvements to the wider HR service.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Extensive generalist HR experience, including strong ER expertise.
• Demonstrable experience delivering HR projects within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Experience supporting organisational change, workforce planning and employee engagement initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility and constructively challenge senior leaders.
• A proactive, autonomous and solutions-focused approach, with excellent resilience and attention to detail.
• The ability to analyse information and translate it into practical recommendations.
• CIPD qualified is desirable but not essential.
