The RoleAs HR Business Partner, you''ll act as a trusted advisor to managers across an assigned directorate, supporting them through the full range of people management issues. Day to day, you will:Provide proactive, specialist HR advice on policies, procedures, terms and conditions and employment lawSupport managers through discipline, grievance, attendance management, dignity at work and capability processesTake the lead on recruitment activity, including chairing selection panels and advising on current legislationManage employee relations casework from start to finish, including confidential record-keepingLiaise with trade unions and staff representatives through local consultation mechanismsSupport Freedom of Information and Data Protection request responsesProvide cover for the HR Manager on a rotational basisRepresent the Council at Employment Tribunals where required What We''re Looking ForProven experience in a generalist HR ..... full job details .....
