Our public sector client is seeking

two experienced HR Advisors

to join their People and OD team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting managers and employees across the organisation.

Main Purpose of the Role:To deliver a comprehensive HR advisory service, providing professional support, guidance, and expertise on all HR matters, in line with employment legislation, organisational policies, and best practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Advise and support managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and conditions of service (local and national)Provide case management support, including investigations, hearings, and complex employee relations mattersPartner with managers to address issues such as absence, conduct, performance, and grievance casesContribute to the delivery of organisational development, resourcing, talent management, and employee experience initiativesEnsure compliance with employment law, codes of practice, and internal policiesPromote best practice, positive employee relations, and organisational effectivenessEssential Skills and Experience:

CIPD Level 7 Advanced Diploma (or equivalent) and Chartered CIPD MembershipStrong, up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practiceProven experience as a generalist HR professional, supporting managers on complex HR casesExperience across multiple HR functions (e.g. OD, employee relations, resourcing, talent management)Proficiency in HR systems and digital tools, with strong MS Office skillsExcellent communication, relationship-building, and internal consultancy skillsStrong problem-solving ability with resilience in handling conflict and sensitive situationsHigh standards of integrity, professionalism, and adaptabilityEffective organisational and time management skillsFull driving licence and access to a vehicle, with willingness to travel across sitesIf this sounds like the next challenge you are looking for to further your HR career, apply now with your up-to-date ..... full job details .....
