HR Advisor / HR Business Support (3 Month FTC / Temporary Assignment)
Location: Grays, Essex
Salary: -40,000 - -42,000
Contract: 3 Months
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

We are supporting a well established and fast paced organisation in their search for an experienced HR professional to provide hands on support during a busy period. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, can hit the ground running and is confident supporting managers and employees across a broad range of HR matters.
The Role
Working closely with the senior HR team, you will be responsible for providing practical, commercially focused HR support across the business. This role will have a strong focus on Employee Relations and will suit someone who is confident managing complex casework and building credibility with stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a broad range of Employee Relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management and performance issues.
- Providing expert HR advice and guidance to managers on employment law, policies and procedures.
- Supporting investigations, hearings and outcome recommendations.
- Building effective relationships with managers, employees and Trade Union representatives.
- Advising on collective and individual consultation matters where required.
- Supporting organisational change, workforce planning and people initiatives.
- Ensuring HR records and documentation are maintained accurately and compliantly.
- Assisting with HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the people function.
- Producing HR reports and management information as required.
About You
- Previous experience within a HR Advisor, HR Business Partner or Senior HR Coordinator role.
- Strong Employee Relations experience with confidence managing end-to-end casework independently.
- Experience working with Trade Unions and unionised environments.
- Sound knowledge of UK Employment Law.
- Ability to build strong working relationships and influence at all levels.
- Highly organised with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Available to start at short notice or immediately preferred.
