HR Adviser

Anderson Knight is delighted to be working exclusively with our client to recruit an HR Adviser-based in Glasgow.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional looking to join a collaborative and forward-thinking organisation in a broad generalist role. Working closely with leaders and managers across the business, you will provide practical, commercially focused HR support while helping to deliver key people initiatives that support organisational goals and employee success.

The Role

As HR Adviser, you will be a trusted partner to managers, providing expert guidance across the full employee lifecycle. You will play a key role in promoting best practice, supporting employee relations matters, and contributing to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Advising and supporting managers on a wide range of HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, absence management and employee engagement.
• Managing ER cases, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding and talent development activities.
• Assisting with the implementation of HR initiatives, policies and processes.
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.
• Analysing HR data and trends to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Contributing to HR projects that enhance the employee experience and support business objectives.
• Supporting organisational change and workforce planning activities where required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in a generalist HR Adviser or HR Officer position.
• Strong employee relations knowledge and experience managing a variety of casework.
• Up-to-date understanding of UK employment legislation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to build credibility and influence at all levels of the organisation.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong organisational skills.
• CIPD qualification or working towards this would be advantageous.
