HR Administrator (London / Manchester)ROLE OVERVIEWAs HR Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the full employee lifecycle and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of HR administration. Working closely with the Head of People and Culture, you’ll be a first point of contact for People queries, supporting HR initiatives that enhance our employee experience and contribute to a positive and professional workplace.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProvide administrative support across all areas of HR, including recruitment, onboarding, training, employee relations, and offboarding.Maintain and update employee records in the HR system, ensuring accuracy and GDPR compliance.Co-ordinate recruitment processes: advertising roles, scheduling interviews, liaising with candidates and hiring managers.Support the onboarding process for new starters, including contracts, induction scheduling, and right-to-work checks.Assist with the implementation of learning and development initiatives, tracking participation and feedback.Support wellbeing and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programmes and events across the practice.Draft letters and documentation for changes to terms and conditions, promotions, and other employee lifecycle events.Monitor key HR metrics absence, turnover, training uptake) and produce regular reports for management.Maintain and improve HR processes and templates, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.Act as a friendly and approachable point of contact for employees, escalating complex issues where appropriate.PERSONAL ATTRIBUTESExperience in an HR administration or co-ordinator role, ideally within a creative, professional services, or design-led environmentStrong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detailGood working knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practiceConfident using HR systems and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, Word, Outlook)Excellent interpersonal and written communication skillsAbility to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalismProactive, collaborative, and approachable mannerA genuine interest in people, wellbeing, and organisational cultureExperience within an architecture or design practiceFamiliarity with DEI and sustainability initiatives in the workplaceWHAT WE OFFERWith a wide range of exciting projects, experienced employees, and a great company culture at our UK locations, we are offering an opportunity to join our team to grow and develop your professional experience and career with us.
