Housing Support Officer

A reputable supported housing association is currently recruiting for a Housing Support Officer in the Norfolk and Suffolk area. This is a temporary contract covering a staff absence.Length: 8 weeksHours: 37.5 hours a week - 09:00am to 17:00pm Hub Home RoamHourly rate: £17.10 per hour including holiday pay at 12.07% or £19.66 (Umbrella)The role involves:Undertake meaningful Support Planning and Keywork sessions with customersEnsure that individuals can adhere to the terms of their occupancy agreement, are signposted to relevant services and are supported to get involved in the wider communityUndertake customer signs ups, settling in and routine visits, swiftly addressing tenancy related concernsComplete property inspections and compliance checks in line with policies, immediately taking action where necessary and reporting outcomes to the Property Services TeamTake proactive action to ensure customers pay their rent and services chargesManage allegations of anti-social behaviour, undertaking legal casework where necessary and presenting in courtEnsure recovery of debt and address anti-social behaviour including eviction actionAdditional requirements:• UK Drivers Licence and access to a vehicle.• An enhanced DBS ideally from within three years or willingness to obtain oneIf this opportunity is of interest, please apply with your up-to-date CV.Venn Group is an equal opportunities employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates. ..... full job details .....
