Housing Support

Our client is seeking a compassionate and proactive Housing Support Worker to help people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. This role offers the chance to make a real difference by providing empathetic support, practical advice, and person-centred guidance to individuals moving from crisis towards stability. My client are looking for experienced Housing Support Workers who are well versed in providing outreach and sustainment services. This role will require people in the office one day a week, and the other four providing site based support through outreach as well as working from home when not required on site. The role:Provide non-judgemental, empathetic support via phone, email and face-to-face contact.Carry out client assessments, identifying needs, risks and opportunities.Support clients with housing benefit, welfare and other entitlements.Develop and deliver person-centred support plans.Liaise with accommodation providers and partner services to secure safe housing.Promote access to health, wellbeing and community resources.Maintain accurate case records and apply safeguarding policies where necessary.About you:Strong communication and empathy skills.Ability to engage people in distress with patience and resilience.Knowledge of housing and welfare systems (or willingness to learn).Organised, collaborative and committed to strengths-based support.If you are ready to use your skills and compassion to make a lasting difference, we would love to hear from you. ..... full job details .....
