Housing Supply Lead

We are actively recruiting an experienced and strategic Housing Supply Lead, to lead the delivery of our clients Temporary Accommodation and Housing Supply Strategy, with a key focus on commissioning, procurement, and the development of sustainable housing solutions for homeless households. This is a high-impact position offering a blend of operational oversight and strategic influence - ideal for a senior housing professional with a strong background in procurement, contract management, and market development. The Role Lead the development and implementation of the authority''s Temporary Accommodation Commissioning Strategy, delivering value for money and measurable outcomes for vulnerable residents. Oversee a portfolio of contracts and procure a wide range of temporary and settled accommodation solutions across the private sector. Deliver innovation in housing supply, including negotiating with landlords, developers, trust funds, and agencies to secure long-term housing stock. Manage and grow a housing supply team, providing leadership, motivation, and performance oversight. Lead the end-to-end commissioning cycle - from needs analysis to procurement, contract management, and performance review. Monitor, manage, and report on procurement budgets, including the use of the Homeless Prevention Grant.
