Housing OfficerEast London area£ Hours per week12 months fixed term contract 5 days a week in the office, no home workingOur client a housing association is seeking a Housing Officer to join their professional and friendly team based in Bethnal Green, East London. The Housing Officer is key in delivering a housing tenancy service including income management, allocations and voids management, anti-social behaviour, tenancy engagement to all their residentsAs part of your role, you will have a patch of around 250-300 properties. You will be expected to represent PRHA in court and external meetings and be a key point of liaison for our residents and community stakeholders.To be successful in this role you will have proven experience and skills in the following areas:Housing management experienceExperience of following through legal proceedings / transferable skillsArrears management (Housing Benefit and Universal Credit) financial inclusion and debt management experience.Knowledge of relevant housing legislationExcellent customer service skills, communication and time management and planning skills.Problem-solving skills and negotiation/influencing skills are also key for this post.Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
