Housing Manager

Marks Consulting Partners is currently looking for a Senior Housing Officer to work with one of our Charity Association clients in Surrey

What the Job Will Be Doing

• Leading the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused housing management services.
• Managing complex tenancy, safeguarding, and estate management issues.
• Providing housing-related support to residents to help them sustain their tenancies.
• Working closely with external agencies, local authorities, and legal representatives.
• Supporting residents with welfare benefits, financial management, and tenancy responsibilities.
• Driving service improvements and ensuring KPIs and service standards are achieved.
• Contributing to policy, procedure, and service development across housing management.
• Supporting the wider property and maintenance teams to resolve housing and repair issues.

What You Will Need

• Essential: Level 4 qualification from the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH)-
• Proven experience within housing management or tenancy sustainment.
• Strong knowledge of housing legislation and best practice within the social housing sector.
• Experience managing complex tenancy issues, safeguarding, and resident support.
• Ability to work collaboratively with external partners and statutory agencies.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience supporting residents with welfare benefits and financial matters.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and deliver person-centred housing services.
