Our client, a leading education and training provider, is seeking a Hospitality Learning Coach for a permanent position. This role is suited to an experienced hospitality professional who can use their industry knowledge to coach learners and support them in achieving their apprenticeship standards.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach learners in their workplace, supporting the development of hospitality knowledge, skills and behaviours
  • Work with learners across front of house and back of house environments, including food and beverage, reception, housekeeping and food production
  • Support learners to meet the requirements of their hospitality apprenticeship standard
  • Plan and deliver engaging training and coaching sessions tailored to individual learning needs
  • Monitor learner progress, provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate records
  • Build positive relationships with learners, employers and internal education teams
  • Work effectively towards targets and deadlines while maintaining high standards of learner support
  • Contribute to an inclusive, supportive and progressive learning environment


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in both front of house and back of house hospitality operations
  • Hotel and housekeeping experience is desirable
  • Relevant vocational experience in food and beverage, food production, reception, housekeeping, beverage service or hospitality team leadership
  • NVQ Level 2 in Hospitality or an equivalent qualification
  • Strong communication, organisation and self-motivation skills
  • Ability to work autonomously in high-demand environments and manage competing priorities
  • Commitment to supporting learners and helping others fulfil their potential
  • Understanding of workplace learning or an education environment would be advantageous


Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

  • Level 3 teaching qualification
  • NVQ Level 3 in Professional Cookery or Hospitality Supervision
  • BTEC Level 3 in Hospitality Management
  • Experience working in a work-based learning, training or education environment
