About the RoleWorking alongside our Hospitality Manager/Chef, you will support the preparation and service of meals for hostel residents, caf- customers and community events. You will help create safe, welcoming environments, maintain high standards of hygiene and customer care, and ensure everyone receives a positive dining experience.-

Your responsibilities will include:

• PreparingandservingmealsinourhostelandBeaconCaf-.
• Supportingcommunitymealsandspecialevents.
• Maintainingexcellentfoodhygiene,healthandsafetystandards.
• Supportingstockmanagement,deliveriesandfoodstorage.
• Providingoutstandingcustomerservicetoresidents,volunteersandvisitors.
• Workingaspartofarota-basedteamacrosssevendays,includingweekendsandbankholidays.

AboutYouWe are looking for someone who:

• Hasexperienceincatering,hospitality,foodserviceoracaf-environment.
• Understandsfoodhygieneandsafefoodhandlingpractices.
• Providesexcellentcustomerservicewithafriendlyandapproachablemanner.
• Workswellaspartofateamandcanmanageabusyworkload.
• Communicateseffectivelywithpeoplefromdiversebackgrounds.
• Isreliable,flexibleandcommittedtolearninganddevelopment.

A Food Safety Level 2 qualification, experience supporting community meals, or experience working with vulnerable people would be an advantage, although training and support will be provided.
