Homes For Ukraine Visiting Officer

Good Afternoon,

I am currently representing Merton Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate-which is negotiable dependent upon experience

We are looking for a Homes For Ukraine Visiting Officer- this role will be: SM4 5DX, Hybrid 3 days Office based

The right candidate will:

The scheme is based on local residents offering a place in their homes for 6-12 months to an individual or family group who are fleeing the war.

The post holder will help to facilitate this by carrying out a range of duties including:

• Contacting sponsors to arrange initial visits
• Carrying out a full property check to ensure the host accommodation meets the required standards
• Checking documents as the initial part of the DBS process required by hosts
• Visiting again once guests arrive to issue payment vouchers
• Conducting follow up welfare visits
• Dealing with queries and compiling accurate records of all parts of the process.
