Good Afternoon, I am currently representing Merton Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience We are looking for a Homes For Ukraine Visiting Officer this role will be: SM4 5DX, Hybrid 3 days Office based The right candidate will: The scheme is based on local residents offering a place in their homes for 6-12 months to an individual or family group who are fleeing the war. The post holder will help to facilitate this by carrying out a range of duties including: Contacting sponsors to arrange initial visits Carrying out a full property check to ensure the host accommodation meets the required standards Checking documents as the initial part of the DBS process required by hosts Visiting again once guests arrive to issue payment vouchers Conducting follow up welfare visits Dealing with queries and compiling accurate records of all parts of the process.
