Homelessness Officer

Good Afternoon, I am currently representing Westminster Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3- 6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience We are looking for a Homelessness Officer this role will be: SW1E6QP Hybrid The right candidate will: Undertake homelessness casework across prevention and relief duties, including work with families Manage a caseload proactively with minimal supervision, progressing cases efficiently to resolution Liaise with service users, colleagues, and partner agencies via email, telephone, and face-to-face interactions Accurately record and document all case activity using case management systems and relevant spreadsheets Ensure decisions and assessments comply with homelessness legislation, guidance, and local policies Communicate clearly and effectively, leading all customer interactions with empathy and understanding Independently drive workloads forward and resolve queries in a fast-paced environment Complete all associated administrative tasks to a high standard, ensuring records are clear, concise, and compliant We require the following: Proven experience of homelessness casework (mandatory) Experience working within homelessness services (mandatory) Experience handling both prevention and relief duties To discuss this opportunity further please send over an up-to-date CV and give me a call on (phone ..... full job details .....
