We''re looking for an ambitious, Nurse Qualified Registered Manager to lead a highly regarded 44-bed care home that already has strong foundations in place. With a Good CQC rating, excellent feedback from residents and families, and the support of an experienced Nurse Qualified Deputy Manager, this is an opportunity for a confident leader to take a successful service to the next level.

This role would suit a manager who combines strong clinical expertise with commercial awareness, understands what great care looks like, and can inspire and develop high-performing teams while ensuring the home delivers exceptional outcomes for residents.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will have full operational responsibility for the home, ensuring high standards of care, compliance, occupancy, financial performance, and staff engagement. You''ll work closely with regional leadership while having the autonomy to drive continuous improvement and shape the future direction of the service.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a committed care and nursing team
• Maintain and enhance quality standards, ensuring ongoing CQC compliance
• Drive occupancy and commercial performance of the home
• Oversee budgets, staffing levels and operational efficiencies
• Build strong relationships with residents, relatives and external stakeholders
• Promote a positive culture focused on outstanding resident care and wellbeing
• Ensure safe, effective and person-centred clinical practice throughout the service

About You

• Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) with an active NMC PIN
• Experienced Registered Manager within elderly care or nursing home settings
• Proven track record of leading teams and achieving strong compliance outcomes
• Commercially minded with experience managing budgets, occupancy and business performance
• Strong leadership, communication and relationship-building skills
• Passionate about delivering high-quality care and developing those around you

Interview Process
