HLTA Chatham £100-£120 Long-term to Perm September 2025Are you an experienced HLTA, working towards HLTA status, or confident leading classes across EYFS to KS2? We re working with a vibrant, inclusive primary school in Chatham with a strong community ethos and a commitment to nurturing every child. The school is looking for a flexible and proactive HLTA to join their team full-time from September 2025 on a long-term basis.About the Role:This role is ideal for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant who: Has HLTA status, is currently working towards it, or has experience leading lessons across the primary age range.Can provide whole-class cover during PPA sessions and teacher absence.Is confident delivering interventions, supporting SEND learners, and fostering engagement from Early Years through to Year 6.Enjoys working as part of a collaborative and nurturing team in a school that values inclusive, positive behaviour support. Key Responsibilities: Deliver planned lessons and learning activities across EYFS to KS2, in line with the national curriculum.Cover for class teachers during PPA and absence.Provide 1:1 and small group support, including for pupils with SEND.Help implement and maintain positive behaviour strategies.Monitor pupil progress and contribute to planning where needed.Support the school s inclusive values and help maintain a safe, engaging learning environment.
