Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead engaging learning activities across the curriculum, including covering lessons during teacher absence
  • Support pupils with diverse learning needs, including SEND and EAL
  • Collaborate with class teachers to plan, deliver, and assess learning experiences
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages independence and confidence
  • Deliver targeted interventions in literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development
  • Contribute to the wider school community through enrichment activities and pastoral support

The Ideal Candidate Will:


  • Hold HLTA status or be working towards it, with relevant experience in a primary school (preferred but not essential)
  • Be proactive, reflective, and confident in managing classroom behaviour
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding
  • Be comfortable supporting pupils across Key Stages 1 and 2
  • Be enthusiastic about collaboration, continuous learning, and child-centred education
