Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the primary age range, aligned with teacher planning
- Provide focused support to individuals and small groups, including pupils with SEND or EAL
- Lead whole-class teaching during teacher PPA time or absence
- Help create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Use varied assessment strategies to track progress and tailor support
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families to support wellbeing and achievement
- Contribute to the wider school life through clubs, events, and enrichment activities
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold HLTA status or be working towards it (preferred but not essential)
- Have experience across different key stages in a primary setting
- Be patient, empathetic, and adaptable, with a genuine passion for education
- Be committed to safeguarding, inclusion, and child wellbeing
- Demonstrate excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
- Be enthusiastic about ongoing professional development and school involvement
