A welcoming and forward-thinking primary school inandnbsp;Canterburyandnbsp;is seeking aandnbsp;Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)andnbsp;to join their team fromandnbsp;September 2025. This is a fantastic role for a dedicated HLTA who can deliverandnbsp;Primary Spanish lessons during PPA coverandnbsp;and provideandnbsp;flexible classroom support across the schoolandnbsp;when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Spanish lessons across KS1 and KS2 during teachersandrsquo; PPA time
- Support teaching and learning across the curriculum when not delivering Spanish
- Work collaboratively with class teachers and the wider school team
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment
£ Requirements:
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
- Proven experience delivering lessons independently
- Strong subject knowledge in Spanish (spoken and written)
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to school life
