Position Overview:
Supply Desk is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic History Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Chichester from September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term role through to December 2025, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.
The successful applicant will teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4, working within a supportive and collaborative Humanities department. This opportunity is open to both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators. Applications from unqualified teachers or non-specialists with relevant experience will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and well-structured History lessons tailored to a range of learning needs
Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports high standards of learning and behaviour
Participate in school life, including extracurricular activities and events
