Highway / Infrastructure Design Engineer Location: London Type: Full-time, Permanent The Opportunity An established, employee-owned international engineering consultancy is seeking a Highway / Infrastructure Design Engineer to join its UK Engineering Design team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly respected transport and infrastructure group delivering technically robust, sustainable highway and infrastructure solutions across complex urban environments. You will support the delivery of a wide range of highway, drainage and infrastructure projects, contributing to technical excellence while developing your skills within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary consultancy setting. The role offers strong exposure to public sector-led schemes and genuine long-term progression.The Role You will assist with the production and delivery of highway and infrastructure design solutions from concept through to technical approval. Working alongside transport planners, engineers and designers, your responsibilities will include: Preparing detailed highway, drainage and infrastructure designs through the technical approval process Supporting Section 278 and Section 38 highway submissions, with awareness of Section 104 and 106 agreements Producing technical drawings and design outputs using AutoCAD and Civil 3D Applying relevant design standards including DMRB, Manual for Streets, DCG drainage guidance and Building Regulations Supporting the ..... full job details .....
