Higher Level Teaching Assistant - SEN School | Hounslow | Immediate Start

Are you an experienced and dedicated HLTA looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people? We are recruiting a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Hounslow, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including SEMH, Autism, ADHD, and complex learning difficulties.

This is a rewarding and impactful role where your expertise, initiative, and commitment will directly contribute to pupils'' academic progress, behaviour, and overall wellbeing.

The Role:

• Support teachers in planning and delivering structured lessons for SEN pupils
• Lead small group and 1:1 interventions to reinforce learning
• Assist pupils with behavioural, emotional, and social development
• Supervise and mentor other support staff where required
• Help maintain a calm, structured, and inclusive classroom environment

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working in a SEN or inclusive setting
• Holds HLTA status or equivalent experience
• Is confident managing challenging behaviour and implementing behaviour strategies
• Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Is patient, resilient, and passionate about inclusive education
• Holds or is willing to obtain a Child and Adult DBS
