Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Staff work collaboratively to create positive and inclusive learning environments where children can thrive both academically and personally.We''re looking for confident and proactive HLTAs who are passionate about supporting pupils and contributing to outstanding classroom practice.What you''ll be doing• Delivering planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher • Supporting teaching and learning across a range of year groups • Leading small group interventions to raise attainment • Working closely with teachers to support pupil progress • Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in learning • Monitoring and recording pupil progressWhat we''re looking for• HLTA qualification or relevant classroom experience • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum • Excellent communication and classroom management skills • A flexible and proactive approach • Willingness to travel across Sunderland and surrounding areas • A driving licence and access to a vehicle is beneficial but not essential • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)What you can expect from Protocol• Weekly PAYE pay • Ongoing support from a consultant who ..... full job details .....
