Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) | Hampshire

Academics is recruiting on behalf of a primary school in Hampshire for a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.

This varied role will involve delivering whole-class lessons to cover PPA and staff absence, alongside providing interventions and classroom support when required.

• Monday to Friday, 8:35am-3:55pm

• Start date: ASAP / after half term

• Daily rate of pay: -110 per day

• Full HLTA training available where required

To apply for this role, you will need to:

• Have GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above.

• Build positive relationships with children, including those with SEND.

• Deliver lessons from teacher-prepared plans and provide feedback on learning when the teacher is not available.

• Demonstrate strong behaviour management and communication skills.

• Be calm, adaptable, organised and confident working independently and as part of a team.

• Understand safeguarding and confidentiality procedures.

Experience across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 is beneficial, but a willingness to learn is essential.
