HGV TechnicianLocation: BiggleswadeSalary: Up to £55,000 per annumShift: 4-Day Working Week 6:00am 6:00pm (Tues - Fri / Weds - Sat)Contract: Permanent Overtime paid at 1.5xWe are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join an established fleet maintenance workshop in Biggleswade.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV Technician looking for a 4-day working week, competitive salary and the opportunity to earn additional money through overtime.The Role Working as part of a professional fleet maintenance team, you will be responsible for the servicing, inspection, maintenance and repair of a range of HGVs and commercial vehicles.You will play an important role in ensuring the fleet remains safe, compliant, reliable and available for operation.Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance on HGVsServicing and repairing commercial vehiclesDiagnosing mechanical and electrical faultsCarrying out inspections and safety checksIdentifying and rectifying vehicle defectsWorking on braking, suspension, steering and associated vehicle systemsCarrying out repairs efficiently and to a high standardCompleting maintenance records and relevant paperworkEnsuring vehicles are maintained to a safe and roadworthy standardWorking in line with company health and safety proceduresSupporting the wider workshop and fleet maintenance team About You Previous experience as an HGV Technician, LGV Technician or Commercial Vehicle TechnicianStrong mechanical ..... full job details .....
