HGV Technician

HGV Technician RequiredSJG Haulage and Commercial Workshop is recruiting for an experienced HGV mechanic, we are a friendly family run company in Marchwood.The role will be a minimum of 9 hours shifts Monday to Friday and overtime paid for any extra hours required.The ideal candidate must have the following: Clean and presentable Good time keeping skills Fluent in English spoken and written HGV/Heavy mechanic qualification minimum Level 3 Able to work as part of a team Able to use own initative to complete tasks in hand Experience working in the commercial vehicle sector. HGV Class 1 License preferred but not essential (training maybe given to the right candidate) Driving license essentialDuties will include: Vehicle inspection General servicing Fault diagnosis Repair of vehicle defects Road test vehicles MOT preparation/presentation Breakdown/roadside assistance and call out duty Completion of all required paperwork accuratelyIn return the candidate will receive a competitive salary, 20 days holiday per year, pension and invitations to work social events throughout the year.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: £35,000.00-£49,000.00 per yearBenefits: On-site parkingWork Location: In ..... full job details .....
