About the Role
Rapier Employment seeks an HGV Technician for ongoing work with a local authority in Nottingham. This full-time, temporary role involves servicing and repairing HGVs and other Council vehicles. Responsibilities include diagnosing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults, preparing vehicles for MOT inspections, and performing welding, fabrication, and body repairs. The technician will also respond to breakdowns and accident-damaged vehicles while maintaining accurate records and high workshop standards. Candidates need a Level 3 City and Guilds (or equivalent), a full Class 2 driving licence, and a DVSA Inspecting and Testing qualification. The working pattern is Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00, with a salary of £18.85 to £20 per hour, dependent on experience.

- Full Driving licence minimum category Class 2.
- DVSA Inspecting and Testing quailfication
- 09:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday.
- £19.00 - £20.00 ph DOE.
