HGV MechanicLocation: Loughborough Salary: £46,215 per annum (£22.22 per hour) Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am 3:30pm (Some flexibility around timings) Contract: Permanent, Full-Time Overtime: Available at time and a halfWe are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join the team in Loughborough on a permanent, full-time basis.This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified HGV Mechanic looking for a stable Monday to Friday position, with overtime available at time and a half and the opportunity to gain an HGV driving licence, supported and funded by the company.The RoleAs an HGV Mechanic, you will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, repair and maintenance of a range of specialist vehicles, including RCVs and cage fitters.Your responsibilities will include: Carrying out routine servicing and preventative maintenanceDiagnosing and repairing mechanical faultsCompleting inspections and repairs to a high standardWorking on RCVs and cage fitter vehiclesEnsuring all vehicles are maintained safely and efficientlyCarrying out repairs in line with relevant safety and manufacturer standardsWorking as part of an experienced and supportive team RequirementsTo be considered for this position, you will need: A recognised Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, Vehicle Maintenance or a related disciplinePrevious experience working as an HGV Mechanic or HGV Technician Salary and Benefits £46,215 per annum£22.22 per hourMonday to Friday day shift40 ..... full job details .....
