HGV TechnicianLocation: Harlow, EssexSalary: £42,000 £65,000 per annum, depending on experienceJob Type: Full-timePay: FortnightlyAbout the RoleMy client is currently looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join their established independent workshop based in Harlow.This is a great opportunity for an experienced technician who enjoys fault finding, diagnostics and working on a varied range of commercial vehicles.The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, maintenance and repair of HGVs and commercial vehicles.Key Responsibilities Routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenanceDiagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faultsFault finding using diagnostic equipment, including TEXA and JaltestMOT preparation and rectification workInvestigating and repairing vehicle defectsCarrying out repairs to a high standardCompleting service sheets and job documentation accuratelyWorking safely and maintaining a clean and professional workshopWorking independently and as part of a teamEnsuring all work is completed in line with manufacturer and industry standards About YouThe ideal candidate will have: At least 2 years'' experience as an HGV TechnicianStrong knowledge of HGVs and commercial vehiclesGood mechanical and diagnostic skillsExperience with servicing, inspections and repairsStrong fault-finding abilityA professional and reliable attitudeGood attention to detailThe ability to work independently and as part of a ..... full job details .....
