We are looking for a HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter to join our client, a fast growing and busy workshop in Barking.-

You will be working on a wide range of vehicles including DAF, MAN, Scania, Volvo, Renault, Mercedes-Benz and more.

HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter Job Responsibilities:

• You''ll be responsible for fast and accurate diagnoses using diagnostic tools and for choosing the right repair techniques.
• You''ll work independently to maintain and repair vehicles and components.
• You''ll carry out a range of inspections (MOT, tacho, etc.).
• You''ll provide support and daily mentoring for less experienced technicians.
• You''ll carry out final checks on work that has been completed.

HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter Qualifications and Requirements:

• Time-served HGV Technician or equivalent qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 preferred)
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• An extensive experience in carrying out repairs and maintenance on trucks, components and associated vehicles.
• Familiarization with developments in the automotive industry.
• Valid Driving License
