HGV TechnicianLocation: SouthamptonSalary: 19.50 per hour + Overtime paid at 1.5xHours: 48 hours per week 4 on, 4 off 06:00 - 18:00The OpportunityWe''re looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join a successful and growing commercial vehicle maintenance operation.This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that genuinely invests in its people through ongoing manufacturer training, career development and progression opportunities, while working within a supportive and highly experienced workshop team.If you''re passionate about commercial vehicles and take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, we''d love to hear from you.The RoleAs an HGV Technician, you''ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy goods vehicles, trailers and commercial vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring fleets remain safe, compliant and on the road.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out major and minor repairs to HGVs, trailers and commercial vehicles.Complete routine servicing and preventative maintenance, including inspections, oil changes and component replacement.Diagnose mechanical faults and work collaboratively with the wider workshop team to identify effective repair solutions.Maintain accurate service records, warranty documentation and workshop paperwork.Ensure workshop equipment, tooling and working areas are maintained to a high standard.Attend roadside breakdowns and emergency repairs where required.Work in line with DVSA standards and manufacturer ..... full job details .....
