HGV Class 2 DriverPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in West Bromwich, West Midlands.This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.This role would suit applicants who have previously worked in a role as a LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver or Lorry Driver.Shifts:Working any 5 nights out of 7Start times between 01:00 and 03:00Rates of Pay:£15.87 per hourBenefits:As a HGV Class 2 Driver, you will receive:Excellent hourly ratesOngoing workWeekly paySite canteenTraining providedImmediate startsEmployee well-being programmeDay-to-Day Duties:As a HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):Conducting supermarket deliveries (handball required - modern cages with wheels)Operating and driving Category C vehicles safely and efficientlyPerforming pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspectionsEnsuring all cargo is loaded and secured properlyAdhering to traffic laws and regulationsCommunicating effectively with dispatch and customersReporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to managementAssisting with loading and unloading of cargo when requiredEssential Skills:As a HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:A valid UK Category C licenceA minimum of twelve months'' experience driving Category C vehiclesNo more than six penalty points for minor infringements, with no major endorsement codesA valid UK CPC card and Digi ..... full job details .....
