About the Role

We are seeking experienced and reliable Class 2 Drivers to join a leading distribution and logistics operation in Birmingham. This is a customer-facing, multi-drop delivery role involving the safe and timely delivery of products to commercial customers across the region.

Working with a Driver''s Mate, you will be responsible for ensuring deliveries are completed efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure roadworthiness.
• Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle.
• Complete multi-drop deliveries to commercial premises.
• Load, unload, and secure goods safely.
• Deliver excellent customer service at every delivery point.
• Complete delivery documentation and electronic proof-of-delivery records.
• Collect returns, pallets, and other reusable assets where required.
• Adhere to Driver Hours, Tachograph, and Road Transport regulations.
• Report any vehicle defects, incidents, or delivery issues promptly.
• Maintain a professional and positive company image.

Requirements

Essential

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of Driver Hours and Working Time regulations.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to undertake manual handling duties.
• Flexible and reliable approach to work.

Desirable

• Multi-drop delivery experience.
• Experience within wholesale, distribution, or FMCG environments.
• Experience using handheld delivery devices.
