Helth and Safety Manager

We are working with an established and growing business delivering a range of services across construction, civil engineering, building services, facilities management and specialist engineering. The Role An excellent opportunity for a Head of People, Safety and Training to take ownership of the people, health and safety and training functions across business. This is a senior, hands-on role suited to someone who can operate at both a strategic and practical level. You''ll be responsible for developing the company''s approach to recruitment, workforce development, training and competency, while ensuring health and safety standards are consistently maintained across its operations. Working closely with senior management and operational teams, you''ll help ensure the right people are in place, properly trained and equipped to do their jobs safely and effectively. The role will also play an important part in maintaining Meldrum''s existing standards and culture as the business continues to develop.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the people, health and safety and training functions across the group.Oversee recruitment, onboarding and employee processes, ensuring the business has the right people in place to support its workload and future growth.Develop and manage training programmes, ensuring employees have the skills, competency and qualifications required for their roles.Deliver practical and classroom-based training where required.Take ownership of health and safety standards ..... full job details .....
