Heavy plant engineer

As part of our continuous growth we are now looking for a Heavy Plant Engineer to be based at our High Legh depot.

This is a great opportunity for Heavy machinery Engineers, Plant Mechanics, and Technicians who are qualified to level 3 or equivalent and live in the Chester or North Wales area.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Good knowledge and understanding of mechanics, electrics and hydraulics

• Diagnosing faults and repairing / maintenance of company equipment on and off site
• Completion of all test certificates and associated paperwork

• Major component overhaul skills (Engine, Gearbox, Braking systems)
• Specialist skills (Pneumatic Welding, Hydraulics, Electrical systems
• Possess personal basic engineering tool kit (Spanners, sockets, screwdrivers etc.).
• Hold and NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance, Agriculture or HGV

Contract Type : Full Time

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Electrical experience
• Welder / Fabricator
• Good Communicator
• Follow both written and verbal instruction
