AR853 Heavy Forklift EngineerLocation: Doncaster Salary: £35,000 £40,000 + Overtime + BenefitsOverview:First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Heavy Forklift Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.The successful candidate will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of large-capacity forklift trucks and heavy material handling equipment, including both customer-owned machinery and fleet assets. You will ensure all work is completed to a high standard, maintaining safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction at all times.Our client strongly encourages applications from ex-military personnel; however, all candidates will be considered.Duties and Responsibilities: Service, maintain, and repair large / heavy forklift trucks and associated material handling equipmentCarry out planned preventative maintenance and inspectionsDiagnose faults and complete mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical repairsCheck and maintain oil, fuel, and fluid levelsInspect and maintain hoses, hydraulics, and connectionsConduct steering, braking, and safety system checksCarry out basic electrical diagnostics (lights, sensors, controls)Attend breakdowns and complete repairs efficiently to minimise downtimeLiaise with customers on-site regarding faults, repairs, and requirementsSubmit accurate parts requisitions and service reportsRepresent the business professionally as a key customer-facing engineer Skills and Qualifications: Strong mechanical engineering background ..... full job details .....
